# Environmental Policy CEK-POL-011 · Version 1.0 · Issued October 2026 · Cekera Ltd ## 1. Purpose This policy sets out Cekera's commitment to protect the environment and to reduce the environmental impact of its activities. ## 2. Scope This policy applies to all Personnel and to the Company's activities, including sourcing, packaging, transport and office operations. As a trading company, Cekera's main environmental impacts arise in its supply chain and in the transport of goods. ## 3. Commitments Cekera will: - comply with applicable environmental laws and regulations; - prevent pollution and manage waste responsibly; - use energy, water and materials efficiently; - consider environmental performance when choosing suppliers and logistics providers; - pursue continual improvement, guided by the principles of ISO 14001. ## 4. Products Cekera will, where it can: - offer energy-efficient equipment, such as high-efficiency motors and drives, and explain their benefits to customers; - support repair, refurbishment and the supply of spare parts to extend the working life of equipment; - pass on manufacturer information on the safe use, maintenance and disposal of products. ## 5. Logistics - Shipments are consolidated where practical to reduce the number of movements. - Sea and road freight are preferred to air freight where delivery times allow. - Packaging is kept to what is needed to protect the goods, and recyclable materials are preferred. ## 6. Hazardous and regulated goods Goods that contain hazardous substances, such as lubricants, batteries or chemicals, are classified, labelled, documented and transported in accordance with applicable dangerous goods regulations, using qualified carriers. ## 7. Office operations Cekera reduces paper use through electronic documents, limits business travel where remote meetings are effective, and disposes of electronic equipment through responsible channels. ## 8. Suppliers Suppliers are required to meet the environmental standards in the Supplier Code of Conduct. ## 9. Incidents Any spill, release or other environmental incident connected with the Company's activities must be reported to the Director without delay and will be reported to the authorities where the law requires. ## 10. Responsibilities The Director of Cekera has overall responsibility for this policy and for ensuring that it is applied. The Compliance Officer is responsible for day-to-day implementation, for giving guidance, for maintaining the records this policy requires and for reporting to the Director. Until a separate appointment is made, the Director acts as Compliance Officer. All Personnel are responsible for reading, understanding and complying with this policy. ## 11. Breaches of this policy A breach of this policy is a serious matter. It may result in disciplinary action up to and including dismissal, or in the termination of a contract with a third party. Where a breach may also be a criminal offence, Cekera may report it to the competent authorities. ## 12. Questions and reporting concerns Questions about this policy should be addressed to the Compliance Officer at compliance@cekera.com. Any suspected breach must be reported promptly, in accordance with the Whistleblowing (Speak Up) Policy. No person will suffer retaliation for reporting a concern in good faith. ## 13. Review This policy is reviewed at least once a year, and whenever there is a material change in the law or in the business of Cekera. Changes are approved by the Director.
